⸻ WHO SHE IS
Not another marketing expert
saying the same things.
Deborah Stallings found marketing at sixteen when she was trying to get her classmates to watch her YouTube videos. She Googled how to make that a job and never looked back. What started as a genuine obsession with why people pay attention — and what makes them act — became a Psychology degree from Penn State, a career built entirely on her own terms, and a business that takes over the complete marketing operation for established coaches and consultants.
She does not talk about tactics. She talks about the infrastructure underneath the tactics that most people never build — and why its absence is the real reason revenue stays inconsistent no matter how much content someone posts or how many ads they run.
Her clients are coaches and consultants who are already excellent at what they do. They come to her because they are done trying to figure out marketing themselves and ready to hand it to someone who will treat their business like it is her own. That is exactly what she does.
She brings the New York directness, the psychology foundation, and the genuine passion for this work that makes her a guest your audience will actually remember.⸻ SPEAKING TOPICS
Five conversations your audience
has been waiting to have.
Every topic below is built around the real frustrations of established coaches and consultants — the people your audience either is or is trying to reach. These are not surface-level marketing tips. They are honest conversations about why the standard advice is not working and what actually does.Topic 01 · Signature Talk
Your Marketing Is Not Broken. Your Infrastructure Is Missing.
Every coach and consultant who has tried posting consistently, running ads, and hiring a social media manager — and still has inconsistent revenue — has the same problem. Not bad marketing. Missing infrastructure. This talk dismantles the conventional advice and replaces it with the diagnosis nobody else is giving: the system underneath the marketing is what produces consistent clients, and without it, every tactic is just expensive noise.
Best for
Audiences of established coaches and consultants who have tried marketing and gotten inconsistent results. The guest who makes them feel seen and gives them a new framework.
Topic 02
The Referral Ceiling Is Real — and Most Coaches Hit It at Exactly the Same Revenue Number.
There is a predictable point in every coaching or consulting practice where word of mouth stops being enough. It is not a failure. It is a ceiling built into the referral model. This talk names the ceiling, explains exactly why it exists, and maps out what has to change to break through it — specifically what needs to be built that most coaches have never built.
Best for
Audiences of coaches and consultants generating $5K to $20K a month who feel like growth has stalled without a clear reason why.
Topic 03
I Built My Business by Watching Agencies Fail My Clients. Here Is What I Learned.
Every client Deborah has ever worked with has had at least one bad agency experience. The patterns are always the same — handoffs, outdated tactics, mediocre work, zero accountability. This talk breaks down exactly why the agency model is structurally misaligned with the needs of coaches and consultants, what to look for instead, and what done-for-you marketing actually looks like when someone is accountable for the outcome.
Best for
Audiences who have hired marketing help before and been disappointed. Gives them a new framework for evaluating who to trust with their marketing.
Topic 04
Why Coaches With Great Offers Still Struggle to Get Consistent Clients.
The offer is not the problem. The audience knows this intuitively but nobody has given them the actual explanation. This talk walks through the gap between having an excellent offer and having a system that sells it consistently — and makes the case that the gap is almost always the same thing missing in almost every coaching and consulting practice.
Best for
Audiences of coaches and consultants who know their offer is good but cannot figure out why it is not generating the clients it should be.
Topic 05
How to Stop Being the Marketing Department in Your Own Business.
The most expensive thing a coach or consultant can do is spend their time on marketing when their highest-value work is serving clients. This talk makes the case for completely stepping out of the marketing function — not delegating pieces of it but removing yourself from it entirely — and shows the audience exactly what needs to exist before that is possible.
Best for
Audiences of established business owners who are overwhelmed by marketing and want permission and a practical framework to stop doing it themselves.
⸻ TALKING POINTS
The convictions behind
everything she says.
These are not talking points she developed for the stage. They are the beliefs that drive every system she builds and every client engagement she takes on. Your audience will hear these and either immediately recognize them as true or be genuinely challenged by them. Either reaction makes for a memorable episode."Content without a system is just noise. The moment you build the infrastructure underneath the content the same effort produces exponentially different results."
The argument against content as a strategy and for content as an accelerant to something that already converts.
"Most coaches do not have a marketing problem. They have a systems problem. The distinction matters because it changes what you actually have to do."
The reframe that stops coaches from adding more tactics to a broken foundation.
"Marketing rooted in psychology is the only marketing that never goes stale. Platforms change. Algorithms change. Why people buy has not changed since humans existed."
The case for understanding the buyer before choosing any tactic.
"Referrals are a revenue source. They are not a marketing strategy. The moment you treat them like a strategy you have built a business with a ceiling."
The hard truth that most coaches avoid until they hit the ceiling themselves.
"You should not have to think about your marketing. If you are still thinking about it something is missing — and what is missing is almost always the same thing."
The operational relief argument that speaks directly to the exhausted coach who is done managing their own marketing.
"An agency that gets paid whether your numbers move or not has a structurally different relationship with your results than someone whose guarantee is tied to them."
The accountability argument that reframes how coaches and consultants think about who they hire.

Deborah Stallings is the founder of Ébène Marketing and a marketing and sales strategist who takes over the complete client acquisition operation for established coaches and consultants. With a Psychology degree from Penn State and a career built entirely on her own terms — from a sixteen-year-old making YouTube videos to a full-service marketing practice — she brings a rare combination of psychological depth and operational precision to every engagement. Full Bio
Deborah Stallings is the founder of Ébène Marketing and a marketing and sales strategist based in New York. She builds complete client acquisition systems for established coaches and consultants — the funnel, the ads, the content, the pipeline — and stays accountable for the outcome from the first impression to the closed deal.
Her approach is rooted in consumer psychology. She studied Psychology at Penn State because she understood early that you cannot build marketing that works without first understanding why people buy. That foundation shapes every system she builds and every strategy she recommends.
Deborah started Ébène Marketing after getting laid off from a startup and deciding she would never be at the mercy of someone else's decisions again. She built the business she wanted to work for. Her clients have collectively generated over 1,000 leads in 90 days from cold audiences, 117 booked calls in a single year, and results that begin on Day 1 of launch.
She is a New Yorker through and through — direct, driven, and genuinely obsessed with marketing in a way that shows up in the results her clients get.
